Billionaire Jack Dorsey today called on the community to help Square merchants switch to bitcoin payments.
“Orange checkout button coming soon,” Dorsey wrote on social media, hinting that Square will introduce bitcoin payment options for merchants.
The Square co-founder and former Twitter CEO is a vocal advocate for the use of Bitcoin for commercial purposes. His call comes as Square continues to expand its crypto services beyond its existing Bitcoin trading features.
