This is what the new Ledger Hardware Wallet Nano Gen5 contains

- With the Nano Gen5, Ledger is further developing its hardware wallet series. The device is designed to secure not only digital assets but also digital identities. The Nano Gen5 features Bluetooth, NFC, and USB-C interfaces, as well as an E Ink touch display. It also offers features such as Clear Signing and Transaction Check for verifying transactions.
- The company collaborated with Tony Fadell, inventor of the iPod, and designer Susan Kare on the design. The device is available for pre-order now for €179.

- “The new Ledger Nano is built for today's challenges and ready for tomorrow's opportunities. It's the signer for everyone—affordable, with the best security and user interface on the market. The next generation of Ledger starts today,” commented Pascal Gauthier, Chairman and CEO of Ledger.
- At the same time, the Ledger Wallet app (formerly Ledger Live) was redesigned. It is designed to enable users to centrally manage their digital assets – from buying and exchanging to using DeFi applications. The integration of the Noah service allows wallets to be topped up with fiat currencies and converted into stablecoins such as USDC.
- With Ledger Enterprise Multisig, the company targets institutional players. The product enables a multi-level signature process for transactions that is cryptographically secured and verifiable.
- The wallet provider claims to have sold over eight million devices worldwide in 180 countries. The product line has been tested by Ledger Donjon, the internal security team, as well as external auditors.
- The company introduced the Ledger Recovery Key, a new backup device that allows you to restore your wallet, in the summer. We spoke with CTO Charles Guillemet beforehand.
