Michael Saylor: “Don't Feed the Bitcoin Bears”
Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor urged Bitcoin investors to resist pessimism and speculation about a further decline in the crypto market.
Saylor posted a 15-second video on social media featuring a bear, Ursus Bitcoinius, wandering through a sunny forest. The video's creator intended to portray traders anticipating a Bitcoin price crash.
The voiceover says the crypto market has finally awakened, and the prolonged periods of crypto winter are over. It's best to remain calm and ignore the crypto skeptics sowing fear, doubt, and uncertainty (FUD) about Bitcoin. Don't give in to bearish sentiment, even during periods of high market volatility.
Saylor said the crypto market's long bearish period is over and advised investors not to “feed the Bitcoin bear.”
Saylor's call came just days after a sharp correction in the crypto market, during which Bitcoin's price plummeted to $102,000. The decline was triggered by trade tensions between the US and China. However, Bitcoin soon recovered and is now trading at $111,000.
Saylor is considered a staunch Bitcoin supporter. Earlier this week, Strategy acquired 220 BTC for $27.2 million, increasing its holdings to 640,250 BTC. These BTC are now valued at approximately $71.4 billion. Saylor recently stated that Bitcoin's value will soon plateau in fiat currencies due to a supply shortage.
