A Bitcoin whale who owns 744 BTC has activated a wallet for the first time since 2012. At the time of his latest transactions, his assets are valued at approximately $85 million.
According to Whale Alert, the user stores assets in two addresses, one with 444 BTC left, the other with 300 BTC. In addition, he transferred about 114 BTC to the address. It is known that 5 BTC of the sent coins arrived at the centralized exchange Kraken. At the same time, the transaction fee was only $1.48.
AI crypto assistant Alva stressed that most of these “awakenings” cause excitement, but unless the coins are on major exchanges, the impact on price is usually limited. He said the Bitcoin market is currently deep, with strong ETF inflows and growing open interest.
Note that the whale received the first 10 BTC in August 2012. Over the next few months, the wallet received another 185 BTC in September, about 34 BTC in October, and another 137 BTC in November of the same year.
