The global number of Bitcoin ATMs has reached its maximum since December 2022

According to CoinATMRadar, the number of Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide this month reached its highest level since December 2022.
At the end of October 2025, there were 39,586 Bitcoin ATMs worldwide, the highest number in nearly three years. While this figure is slightly lower than the December 2022 peak of 39,989, it is growing monthly, indicating renewed expansion of the crypto infrastructure.

In October 2025, Bitcoin ATM installations increased significantly, with a net increase of 422 new devices, up 427.5% from the 80 added in September.
Year-to-date, the total number of Bitcoin ATMs has grown from 37,643 at the end of 2024 to 39,586 by the end of October 2025, representing a 5.2% increase globally (1,943 new ATMs).
North America continues to account for the vast majority of cryptocurrency ATMs, accounting for over 83% of the total number of cryptocurrency ATMs installed globally. In October, 360 new ATMs were installed in the US, bringing the total to 31,037, while 44 were installed in Canada. This figure currently remains one of the highest in the world.
In Europe, the growth rate is rather modest: in October, only eight new ATMs were installed in EU countries, bringing the total to 1,769. In Australia, 33 new devices were installed.
