Vienna Blockchain Week 2025: 3 days of innovation in Vienna
From September 9th to 11th, Vienna will once again transform into the epicenter of the European crypto scene. With over 300 participants from more than 35 countries, around 70 speakers, and international partners such as BCG, Stellar Foundation, 21Shares, Raiffeisen, Aptos Labs, and EY, the second edition of Vienna Blockchain Week will take place at the Web3 Hub Vienna : directly in the iconic DC Tower 3.
The three-day event offers a diverse program of keynotes, panels, and deep-dive sessions covering all relevant topics, from security to DeFi. The event is complemented by exclusive networking events and rooftop parties.
Day 1: Focus on regulation, security and tax issues
On September 9, 2025, the focus will be on regulatory and legal infrastructure. Under the motto “Security & Forensics, Compliance & Regulations, Tax & Reporting,” representatives from Deloitte Legal, the Federal Criminal Police Office, Bitpanda, OSCE, PwC Austria, EY, and KuCoin EU will discuss current developments such as DAC8 , CARF , AML guidelines , and the future of DAOs within the legal framework.
In addition to exciting presentations, the audience can also expect a panel discussion on regulatory aspects of decentralized organizations, followed by the first rooftop networking session with a view over the city.
Day 2: Bitcoin, stablecoins and decentralized financial markets
On September 10, 2025 , the focus will be on the technical and economic infrastructure of the blockchain ecosystem. The day begins with Bitcoin Mining & Energy Infrastructure , featuring experts from the Bitkern Group, the University of Liechtenstein, and the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance.
The next section will focus on Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset : from ETFs to corporate treasuries. Representatives from BOB , Montis Consulting , and Crypto Play will shed light on the geopolitical implications of the Bitcoin boom in institutional portfolios.

Day 3: Tokenization, Indices and AI x DeFi
September 11, 2025, is dedicated to the innovations of tomorrow. Among others, Boston Consulting Group , Venionaire Capital , Riddle&Code , Black Manta Capital , and SMAPE Capital will discuss the opportunities of tokenized real-world assets and the regulatory framework for digital securities.
Later, the focus will be on Crypto Indices , followed by Institutional Investments in Crypto with speakers from 21Shares, DeFi Technologies, DLT Venionaire and ABC Research.
The event concludes with the high-profile session AI in DeFi , in which moonlytics.ai , DLT Austria and ABC Research , among others, will discuss how AI-supported algorithms could shape the future of decentralized financial markets.
