  • The German e-money establishment, AllUnity, has forged a calculated alliance with Chainlink Labs to permit its MiCA-agreeable euro stablecoin, EURAU, to function on diverse blockchains.
  • Through the assimilation of Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), EURAU will gain the ability to be shifted effortlessly amongst networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism – devoid of complexities and maintaining an assured 1:1 valuation. Scaling to permissioned networks such as Canton is slated for the future.
  • AllUnity, reinforced by DWS, Flow Traders, and Galaxy Digital, is establishing itself as a prominent issuer of regulated euro stablecoins within Europe. EURAU will empower institutional participants to execute digital asset settlements in real-time, within MiCA-compliant parameters. The objective is to unite dispersed liquidity across various blockchains and streamline international transactions.
  • “By embedding the Chainlink standard, we are enabling our euro-collateralized stablecoin to transition smoothly across multiple blockchains,” declared Alexander Höptner, the CEO of AllUnity. “This constitutes a noteworthy stride toward establishing a robust, interoperable financial framework in Europe.”
  • Chainlink also considers this collaboration a pivotal moment: “AllUnity and Chainlink are formulating the fundamental framework for the ensuing iteration of tokenized financial markets,” elucidated Fernando Vazquez, the President of Banking and Capital Markets at Chainlink Labs.
  • EURAU distinguishes itself as the premiere fully euro-backed stablecoin sanctioned as an e-money token under the novel MiCA regulation. Thanks to CCIP, its technological capabilities are now broadening to encompass diverse ecosystems, signifying a critical advancement in linking institutional payment systems with DeFi applications.
