Robert Kiyosaki: Don't be late in buying Bitcoin
Robert Kiyosaki, author of the personal finance book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” urged his followers to buy Bitcoin while they still can.
Kiyosaki called Bitcoin the world's first truly scarce money, citing its limited supply of 21 million coins. The cryptocurrency's scarcity will worsen as the remaining, unmined coins dwindle. Currently, there are 19.93 million Bitcoins in circulation, and cryptocurrency buying will accelerate, in part due to the growing fear of missing out (FOMO), the writer and entrepreneur believes. He advised readers on the social network X to hurry and buy BTC, as there may not be enough Bitcoins to buy them all.
A few hours later, Kiyosaki published another tweet, urging investors not to succumb to the hype generated by cryptocurrency media headlines predicting Bitcoin's collapse or rapid rise. The writer advised paying attention to the accelerating growth of the US national debt, which has reached $37 trillion and threatens to devalue the US dollar.
“For millennia, gold and silver were the real money. Today, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the real money,” Kiyosaki wrote in H.
Bitcoin is currently trading at $109,000, with a market capitalization of $2.1 trillion. Over the past week, the BTC price has fallen by approximately 1.7%.
Kiyosaki recently admitted to owning around 60 BTC. The writer recently named two cryptocurrencies that he believes could be ideal assets for any investment portfolio.
