Satoshi Closes In On Walmart's Alice Walton In Wealth Rankings As BTC Reaches $112,000
According to Arkham data, at the current BTC price of $112,699, the 1.096 million BTC owned by Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto is valued at $123,558,475,710.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a daily ranking of the world's richest people based on their net worth, the enigmatic Bitcoin founder's fortune is approaching that of Walmart heiress and the world's richest woman Alice Walton, which currently stands at more than $123 billion.
The Bitcoin founder has yet to surpass Alice Walton's brother and Walmart heir Rob Walton, whose fortune is estimated at $124 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, but has already significantly surpassed Bill Gates, whose current fortune is $121 billion.
Satoshi's wallets have not been touched since 2010, and the true identity of Bitcoin's enigmatic founder remains a mystery.
