  • Robert Kiyosaki sold the bitcoins he bought for $6,000 for about $90,000.
  • He received $2.25 million from the sale and reinvested it in two surgical centers and a billboard business.
  • However, the businessman remains optimistic about Bitcoin and plans to buy it again.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the bestselling book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” announced that he has sold his bitcoins, totaling $2.25 million. He said the assets were purchased several years ago at $6,000 per BTC and sold for approximately $90,000.

Kiyosaki used the proceeds to acquire two surgical centers and launch a billboard advertising business. The writer expects that by February 2026, his investments will begin generating approximately $27,500 in tax-free passive income per month.

He also stated that he is not giving up on Bitcoin and plans to buy it again using cash flow from his new business.

Kiyosaki explained that he had been repeatedly advised not to disclose details about his Bitcoin sale and future real estate investments. He claimed that such reticence stemmed from the fact that there were too many people with ill intentions in the world, and that excessive openness could be dangerous.

As a reminder, Kiyosaki previously announced “millions” in Bitcoin and predicted the asset's growth to $200,000.
