Bitcoin Mining Firm HIVE Aims for 25 EH/s as Shares Surge 10% in Five Sessions

Since May, HIVE noted that its accelerated expansion has more than doubled daily bitcoin (BTC) production, now exceeding 8 BTC. This growth stems from the rapid deployment of advanced Bitmain S21+ Hydro mining units at its Paraguay-based Yguazú facility, according to the firm.

Phase 2 of the Yguazú operation already hosts over 5 EH/s of active capacity, with new equipment arriving weekly. The company stated Phase 3 will launch at its Valenzuela location in September. This concluding stage of HIVE’s financed growth strategy is projected to elevate daily output to approximately 12 BTC using current network difficulty metrics.

Anticipated improvements across HIVE’s global operations are expected to refine fleet efficiency to roughly 18.4 joules per terahash (J/TH). With BTC valued near $113,000 and network difficulty at 129T, the firm calculates post-electricity mining margins approaching 60%.

Founded in 2017, HIVE Digital Technologies designs and manages eco-friendly blockchain and AI infrastructure entirely supported by hydropower across facilities in Canada, Sweden, and Paraguay. While year-to-date shares show an 8% decline, recent trading days saw a 10% uptick.

HIVE currently maintains a $557 million market valuation with 214,305,000 shares in circulation. Exclusive treasury data for BTC miners indicates the company possesses approximately 610 BTC, equating to more than $68 million.
