World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a decentralized financial institution (DeFi) with ties to U.S. President Donald Trump and his family, added over $21.5 million in ether (ETH), wrapped bitcoin (WBTC), and MOVE tokens to its holdings on Wednesday, according to the latest data.
WLFI purchased 4,468 ETH at a price of approximately $2,238 per unit (a total of $10 million), 110.6 WBTC at $90,415 (another $10 million), and 3.42 million MOVE tokens at $0.438 per token ($1.5 million).
These purchases by WLFI, where Trump and his sons serve as ambassadors, come just days before a White House cryptocurrency summit scheduled for March 7, where the president will meet with a number of prominent cryptocurrency founders.
