Semler Scientific (SMLR) announced it has purchased an additional 111 bitcoins (BTC) at an average price of $90,124 using proceeds from a market offering and existing cash, according to a press release.
Thus, the total number of bitcoin assets of the medical equipment manufacturer reached 3,303 BTC, the total value of which amounted to 290.4 million US dollars.
Semler reported that bitcoin's year-to-date return (the change in the ratio of bitcoin holdings to fully diluted shares outstanding over a given period) was 23.5%, up from 152.2% in February.
Since the beginning of the year, the company's shares have fallen by 36.92%.
