Top three airdrops in the first week of October

Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins are trying to regain lost ground, and airdrops are giving investors a chance to enter promising projects at an early stage with minimal costs.

Airdrops distribute free tokens to attract new users and expand their reach. This week, several promising projects are highlighted.

RedotPay

On-chain service RedotPay has raised over $87 million. On September 25, the project received an additional $47 million in investment. The project has a Telegram app where airdrop participants can create a crypto card and earn points for future rewards.

RedotPay also offers daily treasure chests that airdrop participants can open to receive rewards every day.

Investors in the project include Coinbase Ventures and Galaxy, with Lightspeed leading the second round of fundraising.

Andrena

Another crypto airdrop to keep an eye on in the first week of October is Andrena (DAWN), a blockchain service backed by DragonFly, VanEck, ParaFi Capital, Robot Ventures, and Wintermute.

The Andrena airdrop has been confirmed, raising $35.5 million. Participants earn points simply by using the Andrena browser extension.

On September 24, Andrena released an updated browser extension. Users who have already earned points should uninstall the old version and install the new one.

New users can install the new extension immediately and start earning points. Some have complained about points not displaying correctly, but the developers are already working on a solution.

Espresso

Blockchain service Espresso (ESP) has raised $64 million. The first round of funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital, with Coinbase Ventures, Polychain, and Blockchain Capital also participating. Electric Capital and Greylock Partners led the second round, and the Gemini exchange participated in the third round.

While the status of the ESP airdrop has yet to be determined, Espresso has already announced a new activity. Winners will receive a free Composable NFT.

To participate, users need to visit the website, create a room of their choice, and share it on X (formerly Twitter). The creators of the best rooms will receive an NFT.

In addition, Espresso is running Caff Creator Role and Layer-3 challenges, which began on July 21 and May 14, respectively.
