In 2025, BTC-ECHO, in collaboration with KPMG, surveyed more than 2,500 people about their experiences with digital assets. The result is the most comprehensive study to date on Bitcoin, blockchain, and other crypto topics in Germany.

In 2025, we will continue our success by conducting the “Digital Assets in Germany” study. The aim is to gain in-depth insights into the use and perception of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital asset classes in German-speaking countries – specifically in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Your participation helps us to paint a more nuanced picture of the crypto market. Your insights and experiences contribute to a better understanding of its dynamics – and at the same time provide a reliable data basis for decision-makers and the interested public.
The survey is, of course, anonymous. The results will be made publicly available after the study is completed. It is specifically aimed at individuals with practical experience in handling digital assets.
