BTC ETFs Record $440.8M Net Inflows in Last Week of August 2025
Over the past week, Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant capital inflows of $440.8 million. IBIT made the largest contribution with $247.9 million. ARKB came in second with $78.6 million, and BITB added another $46.2 million. FBTC ($33.5 million), HODL ($10.2 million), and BTC ($24.2 million) also showed positive dynamics.
At the same time, individual funds showed negative results. The largest outflow was observed in GBTC with a result of -$15.3 million. In general, the total balance of the week remained positive and confirmed the interest of investors in tools for access to bitcoins. This increased expectations for the continuation of the bullish dynamics in the bitcoin market.
However, the data for August 29 showed the opposite picture. Over the past day, the total net outflow was $126.7 million. The main pressure fell on ARKB (-$72.1 million) and FBTC (-$66.2 million). These indicators significantly corrected the picture and showed that short-term capital movements remain unstable.
At the same time, some funds were able to maintain a positive balance even in the conditions of outflow. Thus, the IBIT fund added $24.6 million, and BTCW – $2.3 million. However, this could not compensate for the overall negative result of the day, which became a signal of profit-taking by investors.
In addition to Bitcoin ETFs, Ethereum-related funds also came under pressure. According to Farside Investors, the total daily outflow was $164.6 million. The main losses were in ETH (-$61.3 million), FETH (-$51 million), and ETHE (-$28.6 million). The decrease in interest in Ether may indicate a redistribution of capital into other assets or an expectation of a short-term correction.
Thus, the week ended with a positive balance for Bitcoin ETFs, but the last trading day of the month turned out to be extremely difficult for the market. Investors continue to actively redistribute funds, and further inflows or outflows could significantly affect short-term trends.
