Conflux (CFX) – Token Burn Vote

Conflux Network has put a proposal to vote on burning 76 million CFX tokens, a significant portion of the total supply. The goal is to reduce inflationary pressure and strengthen the sustainability of the economic model. The vote started on April 28 and will last until June 11. Once completed, transaction data will be published on the blockchain.

At the same time, the network updated its staking program. The basic yield is 4% per annum, but can grow to 8-12% depending on the share of staked tokens. This should stimulate long-term holding of CFX and participation in maintaining the security of the network.

Also in the v2.3.0 update, a “storage point” mechanism was added: part of the tokens is burned when placing a pledge for storing data. This enhances the deflationary properties of the project's economy.

Conflux is a layer-one blockchain founded in 2018 by Chinese researchers led by Turing Award winner Andrew Yao. The network uses a hybrid Tree-Graph architecture and supports scalability and interoperability with different protocols. The project collaborates with Chinese government agencies and Asian corporations to develop an ecosystem in the areas of DeFi, NFT, and enterprise solutions.
