Make way, dogecoin. The new memecoin making waves on tech Twitter isn’t just a diversion; it’s a way of thinking.
MOG coin, a popular token listed on Ethereum and Base, aims to initiate a cultural shift in the form of “mog/acc” — a combination of the words mogging (slang for being better, stronger, faster) and acceleratorism (accelerating technological change at any cost).
Techno-optimists are actively choosing Pit Vipers, a colorful sunglasses brand, as their X-account image, leading to increased interest in the Mog token outside the crypto community.
Influential X accounts, from Y Combinator founder Harry Tan to owner Elon Musk, have joined the mog/acc movement, changing their images to one featuring the Pit Viper. MOG prices have increased more than 11% in the last week, pushing the 30-day gain to over 130%.
Solana ecosystem companies like Raydium and Jupiter have also joined in, updating their online images to feature a cat or their mascot in a Pit Vipers suit with the caption “mog/acc.”

One community member even developed a mog/acc bot that automatically transforms any image into the aesthetic mog/acc followers strive for, and the account went viral within hours of its launch in the early hours of Wednesday.
