Bitcoin mining company MARA Holdings (MARA) has appointed Nir Rikovic as its new chief product officer, making him responsible for the firm’s product development and commercial strategy.
Rikovich will lead the process of creating a comprehensive product roadmap and establishing a product discipline that connects engineering solutions to market demands.

“Nir’s exceptional experience in product management and autonomous technology development, where coordination, efficiency and reliability are key factors, makes him the ideal choice to realize MARA’s product vision,” said Fred Thiel, the company’s CEO.
Rikovich has extensive experience in machine learning and robotics. Most recently, he served as director of product management at Blue River, a John Deere subsidiary. There, he co-founded the company’s self-driving vehicle division and developed strategies for autonomous construction equipment and driver assistance systems.
Rikovic described his mission as aligning energy consumption with technological advances. “At MARA, we combine scale with more efficient energy use,” he said.
